The fifth anniversary of my blog is this month. In five years, I’ve posted 475 stories, 50 prayers and 70 photos on our need to put God first, and the holy relationships that flow from our first love. I’ve enjoyed sharing my stories and reading your comments as we discover new and exciting aspects of our faith.
My blog will continue on, but today, I’m excited to announce the launch of my second book, Reclaiming Time. It is available on Amazon as a Kindle e-book for $2.99 at this LINK. My first book was my memoir, Chasing My Father which is also available on Amazon and my website.
Reclaiming Time was inspired by the Brothers of the Society of Saint John the Evangelist (SSJE) in Cambridge, MA and their 2015 Lenten series: STOP, PRAY, WORK, PLAY and LOVE.
Reclaiming Time is not a self-help book on how to be more efficient or productive. Instead, I hope that these meditations will encourage you to go deep into your heart and recapture God’s most precious gift to us. Instead of being our enemy, keeping time holy gives us freedom.
I’ve found that rest for renewal and reinvigoration resets my paths and allows Christ to enter into the space, rather than Him having to chase after me to get my attention.
For each meditation, you’ll find a link to the SSJE website, a story from my blog, a photo, and a Scripture verse. I hope that as you read, you’ll enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea and jot down a few words that come to mind. Or you may capture a photo or meditate on a Scripture verse that helps you to focus on your relationship with God through His greatest gift to us of time. You can download a free pdf workbook from SSJE to record your thoughts here: Workbook.
Real love needs time to nurture and grow.
I look forward to reading your stories, seeing your photos and hearing about your experiences in keeping time holy. Please share your comments about my book and the Holiness of Time on AMAZON, or on my website at the CONTACT ME link.
Blessings, my friend,
Agatha
