SSJE: For God So Loved The World

February 12, 2018

Today’s Question: How has Jesus given you life?

I think when you get to a certain age, a lot becomes routine. Each day seems to be a repeat of the previous day and we never seem to get quite “caught up”. We are all involved in different aspects of life which may include a job, caring for children or older parents, or volunteer work. We’ve been fairly successful by the world’s standards, and we can often count our blessings.  I was at that point in 2006 when I was recovering from breast cancer and then in 2008, living through a painful divorce. I was really just going through the motions. But there was Jesus, holding me up and encouraging me. For the first time I started slowing down, seeing details of each day and seeing the world in technicolor rather than in black and white.

For me, Jesus gave me the ability to see into His kingdom.

Blessings, my friend,
