Vulcán Pacaya, Guatemala

Vulcán Pacaya, Guatemala

Vulcán Pacaya, Guatemala

October 2, 2018

Two weeks ago I spent four days in Guatemala, my first trip to Antigua. On Friday, I hiked Vulcán Pacaya and we saw eruptions on a nearby peak. Impressive show of God’s might and strength. In Isaiah we hear of our longing to see God and to have him come among us. What more evidence do we need?

Isaiah 64:1-3

Oh that you would rend the heavens and come down,
that the mountains might quake at your presence—
    as when fire kindles brushwood
and the fire causes water to boil—
to make your name known to your adversaries,
and that the nations might tremble at your presence!
When you did awesome things that we did not look for,
you came down, the mountains quaked at your presence.

Blessings, my friend,
Agatha
