SSJE: Nurtured and Sustained by Love

March 13, 2018

Today’s Question: How are you fed by Jesus?

I like Br. Luke’s question at the beginning of today’s video: “What does it take to sustain an intimate relationship? Br. Luke continues that in addition to the nourishment of the Eucharist, we find life-giving food in the silence of our hearts, in companionship with friends, and in the richness of Scripture.

Br. Luke invites us, “Eat with others. Share food.”

I live alone so this can be a bit of a challenge for routine meals. I enjoy getting together with our missional communities from church where we share a monthly meal, but also in attending our daily Eucharist where I am nourished with Jesus’s body and blood, and washed clean every morning.

Please enter the discussion: How are you fed by Jesus?

Blessings, my friend,
Agatha
